Accommodation
All the accommodation for the walk is on
historic Hugenot farms dating back centuries. All the quest houses we
use along our route are 4 or 4.5 star rated.
Dinner, bed and breakfast is included in the
package and the establishments are based on their positioning along the
route. We use a mix of guest houses with some using a limited set menu
specially prepared for our guests taking into account any allergies or
dietary restrictions. Other guest houses have their own restuarants
where we supply our guests with a voucher for the resaurant where you
can choose from the existing menu.
Most walks begin and end
on these historic wine farms. In between these farms, each daily walk
covers between 8 and 14 kilometers and all you need to carry is a small
daypack with just the essentials for the day.
Accommodation is based on per person sharing
with most rooms having queen sized beds. Guests requiring twin bedrooms
must please inform us early so that it can be booked in advance and
should there be anyone who would prefer their own room, this can be
organised but a single supplement will be charged.
All the guest houses have beautiful settings
with swimmimg pools for the hot months and roaring fires for the colder
months. They are all licensed.
